Farmhouse - holiday apartaments

    In a small village near Todi an American couple have restored a country farmhouse and former oil mill with renovations completed in 2002. There are three rental units and an apartment for the owners when they are in residence. Access is by a well maintained country road of 2 kms from the village of Pantalla di Todi. Driveway into property with covered parking. Buda is bordered by game preserves and has good hiking trails. Two mountain bikes available for guest use.

Laundry: Full laundry facility under the entrance arch available.
Phone: No phone service available. There is a fax for those needing to send or receive on a limited basis, otherwise there is a fax/copy/card shop at 3 kms which provides this service.

Pool: This is shared by all the owners, and their guests and reserved exclusively for them. The pool is 6X2 meters and paved in stone.Neighbors are organic farmers and make their own essential oils which are available for purchase directly from them across the street.

APARTMENTS

Buda Uno: Accommodates 8

Occupies the largest portion of the main house. Entrance by arched door, ground floor, into large gourmet kitchen featuring a full Italian bar; San Marco professional espresso machine, Smeg 5 burner stove, large fridge with separate freezer, dishwasher, antique marble sink and all stone and antique tile countertops. Half bath here.

Dining room: This room features massive antique beams, a long wooden table that seats 12 and an antique wrought iron chandelier. Large floor to ceiling glass doors opens to private outdoor seating and cooking area. An overhead skylight illuminates the spiral staircase that leads to the second floor.

Second Floor: 
Living room: A large open space living room with an arched floor/ceiling window with decorative wrought iron railing which overlooks 250 olive trees planted along a sloping hillside. An imposing fireplace dominates the room which is appointed with Italian contemporary and antique furnishings as well as a large library featuring books on art, architecture and travel. The living room can accommodate four persons for sleeping.

Master bedroom, features a queen size bed, dressers, etc. A floor to ceiling window opens up to a view of the valley.

Guest bedroom, has a double bed, dresser, windows to views. The large skylit bathroom, features twin hand made majolica sinks in an antique tile counter. Hand painted tile and antique style fixtures. Shower only.
All windows and doors feature screens.

Buda Due: Accommodates 5

Access is by large arched stone and beam staircase. 

There are two terraces which are ideal for outdoor meals and relaxing. A pleasant modern interior with Terrazzo tile floors, high ceilings lots of windows and views, consists of a kitchen in a sleek contemporary design, with dishwasher and table, in shades of pale yellow, cream and gray, a living room with a 19th century French enameled fireplace. The living room can accommodate an additional three persons for sleeping; air-conditioned master bedroom with double bed, dresser, armoire.

Bathroom: Mosaic and tile, completely new and contemporary in feeling. Shower only.

This portion of the house features a private picnic area at the base of the stone arch of the western facade.

All windows and doors feature screens.

NOTE: Buda Due and Buda Uno can be rented as a single unit. An adjoining door provides access to each part of the house.

Baby Buda: Accommodates 2

An independent guest house.

This very charming stone house contains a full kitchen and small bathroom, open plan with double bed. 

Lots of windows let light flood in and connect indoors with outdoors. 

Antique floors and ceilings, antique tile counters, stone sink, mini dishwasher, cooktop and oven, undercounter fridge, handpainted tile bathroom, very charming! 

Opens with double glass doors onto a private area in the back at the base of the olive grove featuring a large pergola for outdoor dining and relaxing.
